Nathan Potts

Nathan Potts has been involved in music and theater since he was 8 years old, starting in church choir. He has been involved in several music and theater productions through the years. Some highlights include The Seagull at GRCC, performing with Grooters and Beal in Rockvespers, performing in an original musical based on the Gospel of John called John’s Improv, as well as many karaoke dive bars through the years. He prides himself in knowing almost every cheesy 80s duet there is.

Along with singing in VanHornen, Nathan also sings auxiliary vocals in “Hey Marco!” (A local band in Grand Rapids led by former Broadway star in Rent, Mark Jackson).

Although he is busy as a husband and a father of two boys and one girl, along with his job in the telecommunications industry, he also enjoys volunteering time at his church, as well as singing in the Grand Rapids Caroling Company.
